Jason Wilkins, Design Lead - Mechanical Engineering, IDEO
The MII-PS program at Carnegie Mellon allowed me to build on my existing engineering background and work experience, while providing me with a unique understanding of how an interdisciplinary team of designers can leverage the design process to create innovative solutions to a wide variety of problems.
Megan Neese, Senior Manager in Future Lab, Nissan Motor Limited
The sheer amount of real-world experience that the MII-PS program provided enabled me to quickly translate academic concepts into professional context. The IPD class shaped my expectations for great interdisciplinary collaboration, helped me to re-frame project collaboration models, and continuously grow as a manager
Luke Fromowitz, CTO & Co-Founder, Chronos Wearables
Creating impactful consumer products that are both marketable and manufacturable is a relentless endeavor. To do this successfully you must understand how to extract consumer pain points and translate them into a product opportunity gap that aligns with consumer, market and technology trends.  Carnegie Mellon’s  MII-PS programs is one of only a handful in the world that provide this foundation.
